Honeywell performance material up 11% on strong UOP performance

Honeywell says its performance materials and technologies segment reported third-quarter segment profit up 11%, to $305 million, driven by strong performance at UOP and productivity gains partially offset by inflation and continued growth investments, the company says. Segment sales for the quarter were $1.6 billion—up 10% YOY, though organic sales were down, the company says.
