Henkel's Adhesives Earnings Rise on Improved Volumes

Henkel’s adhesives technologies first-quarter results jumped because of “substantial volume increases,” and cost saving measures. Operating income almost quadrupled, to €185 million ($240 million), on sales up 12%, to €1.7 million. All businesses and regions contributed to sales growth, Henkel says.
