H.B. Fuller net income falls despite sales increase

H.B. Fuller has announced fiscal second-quarter net income of $20.5 million, or 40 cts/share, down 20.8% year-on-year (YOY), on sales up 4.8%, to $544 million. Adjusted earnings, excluding some restructuring charges, totaled 78 cts/share, up 16% YOY. Sales grew due to higher volumes, but that growth was tempered by lower selling prices, the company says. “Our financial performance in the second quarter was mixed.
