H.B. Fuller earnings rise on higher margins

H.B. Fuller’s fiscal second-quarter net income rose more than five-fold, to $25.9 million, or 51 cts/share, on revenue down 1.5% year-on-year (YOY), to $519 million. Adjusted earnings totaled 67 cts/share, up 8.1% YOY. H.B. Fuller’s fiscal second- quarter ended on 1 June. Volumes, which fell 1.4% YOY, drove the decline in revenues, while selling prices rose.
