Gulf Resources Reports Slight Income Increase

Gulf Resources reported net income of $6.5 million for the second quarter, an incease of $400,000 from the year-ago period. The income amounted to earnings of 6 cts/share. The company's profit totaled $10.1 million on revenues of $23.6 million. The latter figure is a 7.3% increase from the amount reported in the year-ago period. The company expects full-year earnings to total $27 million to $29 million, or about 22-24 cts/share.
