Fire to Delay Ineos Restart

A small fire that broke out during the restart of Ineos’s 200,000-barrels/day Grangemouth, U.K. refinery on May 10 will “slightly” delay the restart of petrochemical operations, a company spokesperson says. A specific restart date had not been determined. The fire was quickly extinguished, the spokesperson says. Ineos originally expected the site’s petchem operations to be running at full capacity by May 18. The company idled production following a worker strike April 28-29 and declared force majeure on polypropylene and polyethylene...
