ExxonMobil says it has initiated preliminary safety procedures for its chemical plants and refineries along the U.S. Gulf Coast as part of its preparation for Hurricane Gustav, which is expected to make landfall today. ExxonMobil says it has completed storm preparations for its Gulf Coast oil and gas production operations. The company has activated its emergency response teams as part of its preparations in advance of the storm's expected landfall.
