Evonik on track with precipitated silica expansion program

Evonik Industries says it is halfway through a global precipitated-silica capacity expansion, announced in November 2010. The company says that its worldwide precipitated silica production capacity is on course to increase 30% by 2014 compared with 2010, higher than the 25% capacity-hike that was announced in 2010.
