Earnings Season Starts Off Mixed

Earnings were mixed among U.S. companies with fiscal quarters ended February 28. Higher selling prices and improved sales helped to lift third-quarter profits at Mosaic and RPM International. Restructuring charges and weak end-use demand negatively impacted A. Schulman’s second-quarter results.
