People & Business :: Companies Earnings Rise for Industrial Gases1:23 PM MDT | August 20, 2007 | Nancy Seewald Industrial gases producers in the U.S. reported strong earnings for the most recent quarter, beating the consensus of analysts’ estimates as reported by First Call (Boston). Air Products reported net income for its fiscal third quarter of $285 million ($1.28/share), up 35% over the year-ago quarter and ahead of consensus estimates of $1.06/share.
