People & Business :: Companies EBRD Takes Equity Stake in Russian PVC JV Between Sibur and SolVin7:14 AM MDT | July 27, 2010 | Natasha Alperowicz Solvay announced today that the board of directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD; London) has approved an equity investment of €52 million ($67.2 million) in RusVinyl, a previously announced polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing joint venture between Sibur Holding (Moscow) and SolVin, through investment in SolVin Holding Nederland. The complex is being built at Sibur's Nizhnii Novgorod, Russia, site. EBRD is also providing an 11-year €150 million loan with a three year grace period to RusVinyl. The terms of this loan...
