Dow’s Postponed Investor Meeting Fuels Deal Speculation

Dow Chemical shares surged on October 12 after it postponed an investor meeting scheduled for early November, fueling speculation that a major transaction could be imminent. Dow shares gained 3.8%, to close at $46.50/share the same day but after the announcement was made.
