People & Business :: Companies Dow to record restructuring charge of as much as $1.1 billion10:51 AM MDT | October 31, 2012 | Robert Westervelt Dow Chemical will record a pre-tax charge in the fourth quarter ranging from $900 million to $1.1 billion related to a restructuring plan announced earlier this month, according to a 30 October regulatory filing. Dow plans to eliminate 3,000 positions and shut approximately 20 manufacturing facilities as parts of the restructuring.
