Dow researcher wins Society of Chemical Industry medal

The Society of Chemical Industry (SCI) is awarding the 10th annual Gordon E. Moore Medal to Jerzy Klosin—a research fellow at Dow Chemical—at a luncheon to be held on 17 September. SCI says Klosin is being recognized for his contributions to the advancement of industrial chemistry in the discovery, scale-up and commercialization of a new generation of catalysts used in the production of a wide range of important polyolefins—including the brand names Elite, Affinity, Engage, Infuse and Nordel.
