People & Business :: Companies Dow, BASF Receive Green Chemistry Award2:22 PM MDT | June 21, 2010 | Vincent Valk Dow Chemical and BASF are recipients of a 2010 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award, for their jointly developed hydrogen peroxide to propylene oxide (HPPO) technology, the companies announced today. The award, which recognizes economically viable and sustainable technologies, has been presented annually since 1996. Dow has received the award seven times, and BASF four.
