Department of Energy to modify LNG export review process

The Department of Energy (DOE) has released its proposal stating that it will modify its liquefied natural gas (LNG) export review process, according to Dow Chemical. DOE has proposed modification of its procedure for reviewing applications to export LNG to countries that have not participated in any free trade agreements (FTA) with the US. “Dow is pleased the DOE has agreed to revise the process for considering non-FTA LNG export applications and conduct a new study on the impacts of LNG exports,” the company says. “With this procedural change...
