Corning Opens Second Shanghai Expansion

Corning (Corning, NY) has completed a $125-million expansion of its automotive substrate facility in Shanghai, China. Corning is a leading supplier of advanced catalytic converter substrates and particulate filters for vehicles. The facility began making automotive substrates in 2001. The company’s first expansion at the site was completed in 2007, and this expansion marks the second expansion.
