Clariant Increases Global Selling Prices

Clariant says it has raised its selling prices worldwide by 5%-12%, effective immediately. Clariant says it “has significantly decreased its costs” during the past few months, but feedstock prices “have risen dramatically” during the same time period. “Clariant finds itself in the position now, where further price increases are necessary to compensate for the high speed of raw material and energy cost rises,” the company says.
