Ciech to divest epichlorohydrin plant in Poland

Ciech Chemical Group (Warsaw) intends to divest the epichlorohydrin (EPI) production plant of its subsidiary Zachem (Bydgoszcz, Poland), which has a workforce of about 200, according to Polish news website Express Bydgoski. Meanwhile, Zachem's toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) business will discontinue operations after 18 December, while EPI department will be kept in readiness, according to the Polish news website.
