Ciba Raises Prices for Home, Personal Care Lines

Ciba Specialty Chemicals says it will increase prices across many of its product ranges for home and personal care applications by 5%-15%, effective immediately, or as contracts allow. The company cites higher raw material and energy costs. “In spite of ongoing improvements in our efficiency, we are no longer in a position to absorb rapidly rising feedstock and energy costs,” Catherine Ehrenberger, global head of Ciba’s Home & Personal Care Business...
