People & Business :: Companies Chinese Coal Firm Places More Chemical Contracts10:28 AM MDT | August 6, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Shenhua Ningxia Coal Group (Yinchuan, China) has placed more contracts for a previously announced $1.5-billion, coal-to-chemicals complex (CW, Nov. 1, 2006, p. 20). Amec has received a design contract for the offsite and utility facilities for the complex, which is being constructed at Yinchuan in China’s Ningxia autonomous region. Amec has been working as Shenhua Ningxia’s project management contractor for the entire complex since early 2006.
