China to help finance refinery-petchem complex in Ecuador

China will help finance a refinery-petrochemical complex in Ecuador's Manabí Province, on the Pacific coast, according to a statement issued by the Ecuadorian vice presidency. The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC; Beijing) has pledged its interest in participating in the construction of Ecuador's project, according to various news reports.
