Chemtura closes pool chemicals divestiture

Chemtura and KIK Custom Products (Toronto), a maker of branded consumer and industrial products, have closed the sale of Chemtura’s pool chemicals business to KIK, which was announced in October. The final $300 million purchase price is $15 million less than originally announced due to “the resolution of certain pre-closing matters by the parties,” Chemtura says.
