Chemicals Production Rise for PetroChina and Sinopec in First Quarter

PetroChina and Sinopec each have recorded a rise in their production volumes for chemical products in the first quarter, compared with the year-ago period. First-quarter financial results for the chemicals businesses were not disclosed. Sinopec says that, during the first quarter, demand for chemical products increased steadily in China.
