Calumet Specialty Products Acquires Lubricants Firm For $335 Million

Calumet Specialty Products (Indianapolis) has acquired lubricants maker Royal Purple (Porter, TX) for $335 million, the company says. Royal Purple makes lubricants aimed at the transportation, industrial and marine sectors. The deal is expected to close within the next six weeks. "Royal Purple has an extensive specialty product line serving the industrial and consumer automotive markets.
