CPChem to expand capacity for sulfur-based products at Tessenderlo site

Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) will expand its Tessenderlo, Belgium, plant by adding the capability to manufacture sulfur-based organic products, starting with elemental sulfur, the company announced today. The expansion adds to a polyalpha-olefin plant that CPChem acquired at Beringen, Belgium, from Neste Oil (Espoo, Finland) in 2011, the company says.
