CPChem to Build New PPS Plant

Chevron Phillips Chemical (CPChem) says it will build a new 22 million-lbs/year polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) plant at Borger, TX. The investment amount was not disclosed. The new plant will share some infrastructure and operations with CPChem’s existing 22-million lbs/year PPS plant at Borger.
