CEO of Bayer CropScience Quits

Bayer says that the supervisory board of the company's Bayer CropScience subgroup has accepted a request from Sandra Peterson, chairman and CEO of Bayer CropScience, to terminate her contract. The termination will be effective on November 30, 2012. Peterson's contract had been due to end in the summer of 2013. She was appointed CEO of Bayer CropScience on October 1, 2010. Peterson, a U.S. citizen, became a member of the executive committee of Bayer HealthCare in May 2005, before moving to Bayer CropScience. She headed up the medical care division in January 2009...
