Braskem confirms participation in bidding for Solvay's Indupa PVC business

Braskem is participating in the bidding process to acquire Indupa (Buenos Aires), Solvay's South American polyvinyl chloride (PVC) business, which is up for sale, according to a Braskem filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Braskem says in the filing that it is participating in the competitive sale process for the Indupa assets, although there are no concrete, even preliminary, results so far, nor is there any expected deadline for the conclusion of the process.
