Bayer Receives Two U.S. Awards for Science Education Efforts

Bayer Corp. and its philanthropic arm, Bayer USA Foundation, are scheduled tonight to receive BayerÂ’'s second national award in as many days for BayerÂ’'s science communication efforts and, in particular, its Making Science Make Sense (MSMS) program. The National Science Board (NSB), part of the National Science Foundation (Washington) that advises the president and Congress on science and engineering concerns, will present Bayer with the 2008 Public Service Award at a ceremony this evening at the U.S. State Department.
