People & Business :: Companies BASF sells epoxy curative business to US firm7:49 AM MST | December 19, 2012 | Sotirios Frantzanas BASF and Gabriel Performance Products (Ashtabula, OH), a specialty chemical company, say they have signed a contract to transfer the BASF merchant–based epoxy curative business, Capcure, to Gabriel Performance Products. The acquisition of BASF Capcure strengthens Gabriel's position in the epoxy curing market. There will be a transition period of 60 days, until 15 February 2013, to ensure supply reliability for customers during the transfer, the companies say.
