BASF Reorganizes Around Six Segments

BASF says it will reorganize around six segments, up from its current level of five, effective January 1. The segments are chemicals, plastics, functional solutions, performance products, agricultural solutions, and oil and gas. The functional solutions segment is newly created, and will combine BASF’s catalysts, construction chemicals, and coatings operations, the company says.
