BASF Buys Admixtures Firm in China...

BASF says it has acquired Hi Con (Sichaun Pengshan) Concrete Admixture Ltd. (Hi Con China; Pengshan) for an undisclosed amount. Hi Con China produces concrete admixtures for the western Chinese market. BASF’s other admixtures production in China is at Beijing, Chongqing, Huzhou, Nanjing, and Shanghai. BASF says it is the biggest supplier of construction chemicals worldwide after the acquisition of Degussa’s construction chemicals business last year. Separately, BASF says it has agreed to sell its 14.5% stake in Hanwha Chemical (Seoul) for won120.3...
