Azelis Subsidiary Buys U.K. Fertilizer Plants

Chance & Hunt (Runcorn, U.K.), a subsidiary of chemical distributor Azelis (Milan), has agreed to acquire Kemira GrowHow’s (Helsinki) U.K. process chemicals business for an undisclosed amount. The business produces ammonia, ammonium nitrate, nitric acid, urea, and other products at Ince, U.K., and has sales of more than £10 million/year ($20 million).
