Axalta to boost waterborne coatings in Brazil

Axalta Coating Systems (Philadelphia), the former coatings operation of DuPont, has announced plans to more than double waterborne coatings capacity at its Guarulhos, Brazil, site. The additional facility, part of a $32-million investment program there, will boost capacity at the site to over 4.5 million liters, targeting automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in South America.
