People & Business :: Companies Arkema's Third-Quarter Results Fall, but Earnings Rise Sequentially11:34 AM MST | November 10, 2009 | Kerri Walsh Arkema reported a €3-million ($4.5-million) third-quarter loss, on sales down 24%, to €1.1 billion. Recurring operating income fell 50%, to €36 million, and Ebitda fell 25%, to €101 million. Sales and profits fell in Arkema's three divisions: vinyl products, industrial chemicals, and performance products because of weak economic conditions. Results, however, improved sequentially.
