Arkema and Total inaugurate Lacq gas treatment plant

The gas treatment plant for the Lacq Chemical Cluster 2030 (LCC30) project in southwestern France has been inaugurated by Jean-Marc Ayrault, French prime minister, in the presence of company executives and various officials and stakeholders. Total, Arkema, and Société Béarnaise de Gestion Industrielle (Sobegi)—a subsidiary of Total and GDF-Suez—have invested more than €154 million ($207 million) in the Lacq project, with support from the French government and local communities.
