People & Business :: Companies Arkema Returns to Black11:34 AM MDT | July 26, 2007 | Kerri Walsh in Paris Arkema reported its first full-year results as an independent company since it was spun off from Total early last year. Arkema’s 2006 net income was €45 million, including €93 million in nonrecurring charges, compared to a €427-million loss. Last year was the first time in three years that Arkema posted a profit. Sales rose 3%, to €5.87 billion. Ebitda improved 20%, to €425 million, above Arkema’s financial target of 10%-15% growth, the company says.
