Arkema Plans Job Cuts at Nylon Monomer Plant in France

Arkema says it plans to eliminate 48.5 jobs at its Marseille Saint-Menet, France plant, about 15% of the site's total workforce. The job cuts are part of the company's plan to invest €15 million ($21 million) to improve the facility's productivity. Arkema says it will also increase capacity at the plant by 10%, as part of the plan. The Marseille facility produces the monomer used to produce the company's nylon-11 Rilsan...
