AkzoNobel to stop production of organic peroxides at Dutch site because of overcapacity, high costs

AkzoNobel today announced plans to phase out production of organic peroxides at its Deventer, Netherlands, site by the end of 2016. AkzoNobel is the global leading producer of organic peroxides. The site's current production activities will be moved to other existing facilities in Europe, North America, and China over the next three years. The stop to production will affect approximately 215 employees at the site.
