Airgas to Repurchase $300 Million in Shares

Airgas is launching a $300 million share repurchase program, the company announced today. Purchase offers will happen periodically, and the program has not closing date. The company has about 84.2 million shares outstanding. Yesterday, Air Products withdrew its $5.9 billion hostile bid for Airgas, which valued the company at $70/share.
