Air Products to supply hydrogen to bitumen refinery in Canada

Air Products’ Canada subsidiary has signed a long-term supply agreement with  North West Redwater Partnership Alberta, an alliance between Canadian Natural Upgrading Ltd.—a 50% affiliate of Canadian Natural Resources Ltd.—and North West Upgrading, that operates a bitumen refinery. Air Products will supply North West’s Sturgeon refinery, near Edmonton, AB, with about 25 million standard cubic feet/day of hydrogen—which will be supplied from Air Products' recently announced Scotford hydrogen production plant and its existing...
