Air Products to build hydrogen facility for Shell site in Canada

Air Products says it plans to build, own, and operate a hydrogen production plant adjacent to Shell Canada’s Scotford site at Edmonton, AB. Hydrogen capacity at the facility will be 150 million standard cubic feet/day and it will be connected to Air Products Canada’s existing 30-mile Heartland hydrogen pipeline system—which currently supplies refiners, upgraders, chemical processors, and other industries in the Alberta industrial heartland region, the company says.
