Air Products and Matheson begin helium shipments from jointly-owned Wyoming facility

Air Products and Matheson Tri-Gas, a subsidiary of Taiyo Nippon Sanso, say they have started filling and shipping the first two 11,000-gallon helium intermodal (ISO) containers from their jointly-owned helium production plant at Big Piney, WY. The plant is designed to produce 200 million standard cu ft/year of helium initially, with expectations for future expansion to 400 million standard cu ft/year.
