ACC, NACD announce support of General Duty Clause Clarification Act

Several industry organizations, including ACC and the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD), announced support for introduction of the General Duty Clause Clarification Act of 2013. The bill seeks “to institute a transparent rule-making process to define facility obligations under the General Duty Clause of the Clean Air Act (CAA) and to ensure proper future application of the clause, based on Congressional intent,” according to letter to Congress proposing the legislation.
