Kemira to cut 152 jobs in Finland, fewer than expected

Kemira says that negotiations on workforce reductions in Finland related to the company's restructuring program Fit for Growth, announced in July 2012, have concluded with an agreement that Kemira's head count in the country will decrease by 152—compared with the initially estimated 260 job cuts. The negotiations covered Kemira's sites at Helsinki, Espoo, Oulu, Sastamala, Kuusankoski, Joutseno, Vaasa, and Harjavalta, Kemira says.
