Dow Divests South African Polyolefins Business12:46 PM MDT | July 27, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff A consortium of investors backed by private equity firm Absa Capital (Johannesburg) has acquired polyolefins manufacturer Safripol (Sasolburg, South Africa) from Sentrachem (Johannesburg), a Dow Chemical subsidiary. Financial terms were not disclosed.
