Yara to acquire Bunge's fertilizer business in Brazil for $750 million12:21 PM MST | December 7, 2012 Yara International (Oslo) said today that it had entered into an agreement to acquire Bunge's fertilizer retail business in Brazil, significantly strengthening Yara's fertilizer position in the country. The proposed transaction is valued at $750 million and will be subject to the approval of Brazilian competition authorities (CADE) and other customary approvals.
