UOP provides tech for propane dehydro unit

UOP, a Honeywell subsidiary, says it has been selected by Fujian Meide Petrochemical to provide propane dehydrogenation technology in China. Fujian Meide will use the UOP C3 Oleflex process technology to convert propane to propylene at its facility at Fuzhou, China. Fujian Meide is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Packing Group (Fuzhou). It is UOP’s second project with Fujian Meide, the company says.
