Syngenta benefits from integration, invests in Brazil

Syngenta today reported fourth-quarter group sales were up 12%, to $3.24 billion, including a 13% rise in crop protection products, to $2.50 billion, and an 11% increase in seeds to $600 million. Fourth-quarter profits were not disclosed. Full-year net income was up 17%, at $1.87 billion, on sales 7% higher, at $14.2 billion. In constant exchange rates (CER), sales were 10% higher.
